The Challenge
Developing a comprehensive brand identity for "Radici Mobili," a podcast dedicated to the Italian diaspora in Australia. The project required a visual language that could capture the duality of the immigrant experience: the deep connection to cultural origins ("Radici") and the dynamic, evolving nature of life in a new country ("Mobili"). The goal was to create a professional and relatable brand that resonates with a community sharing stories of success, struggle, and adaptation.
My Creative Process
I led the creative direction by conceptualising a logo that visually represents the concept of movement and stability. I chose a minimalist, geometric approach to ensure high legibility across digital platforms, particularly as a podcast cover and on social media. My workflow involved the development of a cohesive colour palette and typography system that feels both welcoming and modern. Beyond the logo design, I created a series of brand applications and mockups to demonstrate the brand's versatility across physical merchandise, interior signage, and digital assets, ensuring a consistent visual narrative across all touchpoints.
The Outcome
The final identity successfully positioned "Radici Mobili" as a professional and engaging platform within the podcasting landscape. The logo's clean lines and symbolic depth provided the client with a versatile asset capable of scaling from small digital icons to large-format environmental graphics. The project demonstrates how to translate complex, emotional themes into a functional and aesthetically compelling brand system that speaks directly to a specific target audience.
Technical Execution: Adobe Illustrator & Adobe Photoshop.
